Maple ID Services is an RCMP accredited fingerprinting agency which provides digital fingerprinting services as well as immigration and other related services. Our services include RCMP, FBI and international fingerprinting.
Our Fingerprinting services are requested for Immigration and Citizenship applications, background screening for work both in the private sector and the federal government; for Pardons and Waivers or for screening required when there are questions with respect to a vulnerable sector query.
Maple ID Services makes the process of getting an RCMP Fingerprint check easy with our simple, online booking process which handles all of the intake online and then all you need to do is show up at our office and have your fingerprints taken and easily and efficiently.

We do not provide biometrics services as these are performed by Service Canada. Should you have a request for an RCMP check for an Immigration or Citizenship Application but not for Biometrics requests.
THE PROCESS

Step 1
BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
To ensure efficient booking and social distancing protocols all appointments should be scheduled in advance. The BOOK NOW link will allow you to schedule a time based at your convenience and be the starting point to getting your RCMP Background Check.

Step 2
Fill in Your Intake info & Check IDs
Once your appointment is booked you will need to fill out our intake form. Please check your 2 pieces of ID that you plan to use for the fingerprinting and ensure that they are within their date of validity and meet what is required.

Step 3
Give your Fingerprints
You will arrive to your appointment on time so that our technicians can accommodate all clients in a timely manner. When you arrive at the office your fingerprints will be collected, your IDs will be verified and a picture will be taken by our technician as part of the process.
PLEASE NOTE:
We do not offer in person walk-in appointments at this time and all appointments and documentation must be submitted through our website for faster and safer processing.
What you need to provide
You will need to provide us with some personal information before your appointment for us to prepare accordingly. This information will be collected at the time of booking your appointment. Please ensure that you provide full and accurate information as small mistakes can cause a variety of problems with your results.
To prepare for your appointment please be sure to bring with you 2 pieces of valid ID and IT MUST NOT BE EXPIRED. You may provide one primary and one secondary or both primary IDs. We are not able to accept 2 secondary ID’s as this may result in your fingerprint results being denied. The accepted forms of ID are as follows.

Maple ID Services is happy to provide you with Ink and Roll Fingerprinting Services for the purpose of obtaining a foreign background check. The fingerprints will be taken, and the completed form will be given to you the same day so that you can mail to the corresponding authority.
RCMP Police Background Check Purposes

Background checks are the same as criminal record checks, CPIC, police clearance, and police records check. They are necessary to determine whether a person has a criminal record. Information is extracted from RCMP National Repository of Criminal Records and processed through the Canadian Police Information Centre providing the results.

How much does it cost to get my fingerprints done?
The cost is $75 + HST per set of fingerprints.
Do you have parking?
The address of the office is 3342A Yonge Street, Second Floor, Toronto, Ontario M4N 2M4. We do not have parking available but if you are driving to our office you may park on St. Germain Ave. You may park free for an hour.
Are you close to the TTC?
The address of the office is 3342A Yonge Street, Second Floor, Toronto, Ontario M4N 2M4. If you are taking the subway, you will be stopping at Lawrence Station. You will then exit the subway station to Bedford Park Ave and walk along Yonge to 3342A Yonge Street, which will take around 5 minutes. We are in between Spectacle and Alex Convenience store. If you have reached Mastermind Toys, then you have walked too far.
How long will the process take?
When you come into the office the fingerprinting process should take no longer than 10-15 minutes for the application to be completed. Once the fingerprints are submitted to the RCMP, it will take the RCMP between 1-4 weeks to process your information and mail the results to you or other address that you have provided. Please note: that if you have ever been fingerprinted at any time by a police agency in Canada for an offence regardless of the outcome your application may take in excess of 120 days to process.
I need my RCMP Background check ASAP, can you expedite the process?
No, the criminal record verifications are processed in the order in which they are received. The RCMP will not expedite any application because this will adversely affect all other individuals awaiting their results.
